My experiences in extracurriculars at Dickinson and in the real world have taught me communication, teamwork and leadership skills that have helped me grow as an individual and have given me insight into my future career goals. I helped develop and successfully complete a community engagement project to raise funds for the Fresh Match Program at the Farmer's on the Square Farmers Market in Carlisle, PA.

My four years of participation and commitment to this team has given me skills in time management, teamwork, planning and leadership.
Eco-Reps

I created a lint campaign to decrease waste produced in my apartment building. I have educated and encouraged my teammates to recycle ice bags and plastic wrap.
Union Square Farmers Market

I helped promote the market by posting photos and updates on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. I gained customer service and communication skills by helping customers with transactions and assisting vendors before, during and after the market.
School for Field Studies: Tanzania

I completed field research about wildlife behavior through observational research in various National Parks. I learned the importance of patience, listening and communication skills.
