Developed writing skills through completion of weekly writing assignments to show understanding of scholarly articles and government policies. By the end of the course, I wrote a complete policy recommendation analyzing the economic, environmental and political implications on the consumption of tap water versus bottled water.

Environmental Leadership and Organizing for Sustainable Social Change

I created a campaign about student driving on campus in an effort to give people disprove myths that driving is faster than walking. The myth was busted - it is faster to walk and more sustainable! The poster of my driving campaign can be found here.

Analysis and Management of the Aquatic Environment ​

Completed field work in streams and on lakes using tools to measure water quality characteristics such as dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, suspended sediment; ran labs to find nutrient concentrations (phosphorus and nitrogen) and algal biomass (measured through chlorophyll-a). Gained skills in water quality knowledge, monitoring and testing through a group research project.

Senior Seminar - Environmental Disasters​

For my capstone project, I spent the semester researching the Yamuna River in India and looked at the various reasons for why the river is so polluted. I developed audio and video editing skills in Audacity and iMovie through the completion of this project. Below is my capstone video project.
